The MOST Control Platform is a field-mountable distributed process automation controller that offers concurrent execution of process and logic control (IEC 61131-3) applications, harsh environment operation, "hot swappable" I/O modules, extensive redundancy options, peer-to-peer communications and smart device integration for connecting to HART field devices. The controllers execute control strategies and manage all control activities including network communications. Redundant controllers can be used for critical applications requiring higher availability. Redundant controller pairs are readily set up, simply plug a second controller next to a primary one.

Four MOST Controllers are available:

• MOST Hybrid Controller - supporting concurrent execution and regulatory and IEC 61131-3 sequential control strategies
• MOST Process Controller - supporting regulatory control strategies
• MOST Logic Controller - supporting IEC 61131-3 control strategies
