For a great example of a basic control loop follow these steps.

1.  After creating a controller, creating project tags and assigning those tags to modules on the controller simply right-click the controller itself and select "New Drawing".

2.  In the resulting dialoag give your drawing a name something like TIC101 and then click "From Template".

3.  Here you will find a listing of available template including one called FltBasicLoop.  This is a standard control loop using out MAAU block and PID2 block.

4.  You will be prompted to renumber function blocks and change block naming.  With this done you should have a working control loop that is ready to be downloaded to a controller.
