The Universal Server provides comprehensive supervisory control capabilities while enabling HMI-based systems to gather real-time data and archive EFM (Electronic Flow Measurement) records. The server gathers flow measurement information from a wide range of field devices through a single communications port. It operates over TCP/IP and serial networks supporting dialup, radio, CDPD, microwave, and X.25 satellite communications. The system supports Modbus, Fisher ROC, and many other popular protocols with support for online configuration, demand scans, on/off scan and interleaving EFM/real-time polling, and features comprehensive communication statistics and diagnostics.
